What are they up to nowadays

Carvallain handles whatever tasks are delegated to him by the officers of the Hearth, most often managing personnel, acquiring supplies, and overseeing storage of valuable goods. While not always in his office, he can usually be found somewhere within the building, not setting foot off the grounds when on-duty unless traveling for business reasons. Spends most of his rare break time in the Fisherman's Horizon restaurant on-site.

Prior to his current employment, Carvallain worked as a retainer to House Dzemael, overseeing shipment of building materials to various outposts, most recently the moogle project in the Churning Mists. Not much else is known of what he did before then, other than a clerk's office record showing he came to Ishgard from the Black Shroud shortly after the Calamity.
