Xelah Jakkya must be quite pleased with herself with this discovery. Hidden beneath the stairwell, a false wall panel hides a tiny little stairway leading down to this hidden room. It's a little bit smaller than the typical private chamber, but Xelah considers that small sacrifices for the privacy. Xelah typically is quite secretive about this room, preferring the fewer that know about it, the less likely her secondary business is discovered.

The space is quite cramped, with hundreds and hundreds of books stuffed in overflowing bookshelves and piles all over the floor.  The desk looks a cluttered mess, with overflowing mercantile shelves that seem filled with the most curious-looking and unique-smelling concoctions. In the back, a large and comfortable looking bed is half-taken over by a second desk, which is just as cluttered as the rest of the room, with jewels, crystals, gemstones, and papers haphazardly strewn everywhere. Bookshelves line the head and foot of the bed.

The one saving grace of the clutter seems to be the relaxing sight of an aquarium built in behind the bed. Though, the effect would be better served if she actually took the time to put some fish in it. Maybe she can't reach it anymore, because of all the clutter. Oh well. It's the thought that counts.
