OBSESSIONS/COMPULSIONS: Fun. She is obsessed with the thrill of enjoyment and avoids anything that she finds un-fun. This can complicate friendships as she's unreliable as an emotional support as she'd rather change a subject to something more fun than work out problems, beyond trying to encourage the person to have more fun.
PETS/COMPANIONS: Wiggles III. The most recent in a line of rats she's captured, intending to make them a light meal, only to decide they are cute and keep them as a pet. Until hunting goes badly.
HYGIENE HABITS: Rarely clean. Often smells of wood smoke and dirt. She does bathe, but rarely uses cleaning products, instead rinsing and scrubbing herself with course bundles of grass or sand to rub off any oils or muck stuck to her. Often has twigs, leaves or sand in her hair and clothes. Often emits a cloud of dust when she moves too quickly.

Holly has been suspiciously absent lately. Not one to remain in built up areas for long, her being gone for weeks at a time isn't uncommon. But months? Something isn't right. Adventurers and Mercenaries showing up looking for a mysterious, murderous pirate named "Scarlet" said to wear the same mask as Holly also doesn't bode well.

Those looking to RP with Holly will have to understand that a time skip may have to be in place, as her current story arc gets resolved.
Public Knowledge
Holly is often seen around the open wilderness surrounding Ul'dah, but is less commonly encountered within the city itself. She wanders between refugee camps often enough and offers food and furs to the children and elderly. On occasion, she has taught people how to hunt, but misunderstandings with local authorities have prevented her from doing such recently. She knows the local cave formations intimately and has had to evade Brass Blades and others when caught hunting illegally, among other minor crimes. More a criminal by circumstance, there have never been any bounties on her and authorities are more content to run her out for a while than waste time with legal proceedings. Also, she's made at least one or two friends by random chance who have a bit of leverage in such things.

LORE ADHERENCE: I am willing to roleplay things that are not strictly within the accepted or established lore, so long as you are able to plausibly explain the reasoning or cause of the RP in question. I love exploring unusual avenues and stories, but I find immersion difficult when something directly contradicts lore. I'm more than willing to roleplay with people who have chosen to play as NPC characters, but I would also expect them to stay within the expected behaviors of the character they are copying.

Backstory
There is a large portion of Holly's past she refuses to talk about. She has given hints at it before, such as spending time on a ship, having a mom and a mother at different points and referencing two different families. However, she usually changes the subject very quickly or, failing that, runs off to avoid the topic entirely. Likewise, Holly is never seen in public without her signature mask. It is a simple thing, with no unique traits beyond being a festival mask commonly used in Gridanian celebrations. The strap that holds it on is thicker than most, being made of a soft leather band that is surprisingly sturdy. Holly almost seems to have a sixth sense about when someone will try to unmask her by surprise.
Holly came to Eorzea only recently. First appearing in the Black Shroud, she established herself as an adventurer because it sounded like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, after signing on as a Conjuror with a small company of other adventurers, her abilities with White Magic became known and an incident occurred which resulted in her being chased by Wood Wailers until she fled beyond the borders of the Shroud and into Thanalan.
From this point, she made the choice to hide any magical abilities she possessed and gave up the adventuring life to instead seek more pleasurable activities. She wandered to Limsa Lominsa and joined a series of taverns, bars and performance groups as a helper, server and even a designer on occasion, but though she greatly enjoyed these ventures, they ultimately failed to last. Once more without a place to call home, Holly wandered back to Thanalan and began a life outside of civilization, relying on her skills in wilderness survival to keep herself fed and sheltered.
After months had passed, Holly once again found employment in an entertainment business in the Goblet. Times were good once again for the masked miqo'te, but just as before, as soon as she began to feel at home, trouble reared its head. Though not directly involved, Holly nevertheless elected to depart, not wanting to linger in a place with so many negative emotions running high. She instead followed the people who left before her. These people were a positive and welcoming bunch, or so it seemed, and Holly already had friends among them. However, history made her nervous about seeking a home with these friends. She opted not to join them officially, instead being more of an occasional guest and helper, while continuing to live her life in the open fields outside of the Goblet. Eventually, she stole into one of the back storage rooms of the Hearth and made a small hidey hole for herself, unbeknownst to most of the Company. She retires here when she is too exhausted to make the trip back to make camp for the night.
