Umbral joined the Hearth after many moons at a Courtesanship, putting what skills She learned pettling in Ala Mhigo only to have a desire to do some actual work, She now gives simple Massages and Private Dances in her living chambers at the Heated Hearth.
Umbral is an Ala Mhigan-born Hyurian that fled the invaded capital. When Umbral was born, She was left at the doorstep of a Roegadyn woman.
Umbral spent most of her days in Ala Mhigo doing whatever She had to for Gil while her Caretaker sold fruit and (occasionally) smuggled in supplies for the resistance. Umbral, in her twenties, saw an opportunity to leave when explosions went off on their street, buildings crumbled and lives were lost, Her caretaker caught in the blast. She fled to Thanalan to the Refugee camp stationed there and traveled to Ul'dah.
